How It Happened

The plaintiff, a 51-year-old woman, was crossing the street when she was hit and dragged and then left lying
bloody in the street while the motorist drove away. When the EMTs arrived, the plaintiff was in the street with
her groceries scattered around her.

City cameras captured the vehicle hitting the plaintiff and dragging her approximately 15 to 20 feet. The vehicle
was also recorded driving throughout the neighborhood on several home surveillance cameras.

While operating his motorcycle our client was cut off by a motor vehicle, resulting in a crash. The responsible
party fled and was never located. After some investigation of witnesses and accident reconstruction, we were

Motor Vehicle Accident – Motorcycle Driver Hit By Another Vehicle Causing Surgery and Physical Therapy

The plaintiff was driving his motorcycle when the defendant pulled out of her driveway without looking and hit
the plaintiff. He was thrown over the front of the vehicle and slid across the road. He was brought to the
hospital, and his left knee was placed in an immobilizer.

and the railing to the stairs was also missing.

Our client suffered fractures to the L3 and L4 columns of her spine, abrasions to her face, and lower back pain.
She required months of physical therapy. In addition to these injuries, she suffered from post-concussive
symptom, which kept her out of work for several weeks.

Dog Bite – Pedestrian Gets Knocked Over and Attacked by Two Dogs Leading to Tinnitus and a Spinal Fracture

The plaintiff was out walking when he was approached by two dogs who knocked him over and began jumping on him.
The fall caused severe pain in his back, and one of the dogs bit his forearm. He was transported to the hospital
via ambulance and treated for a compressed L2 fracture and a bite mark on his left forearm.

The plaintiff was left with a scar on his forearm from the bite and began to develop tinnitus in both of his
ears. He began physical therapy after experiencing chronic pain and limited mobility as a consequence of the L2
fracture.

Slip and Fall – Plaintiff Caused to Slip on Ice Outside His Condominium and Damaging His Knee

The plaintiff was leaving his home in Andover, Massachusetts, carrying one of his children to the car when he
slipped on ice and landed on his elbow and knee. Plaintiff was able to show that the treatment of the parking
lot was not done in a reasonable manner which caused black ice to form. He could not brace himself properly due
to the fact that he was carrying his child and did not want the child to get hurt. He experienced some swelling
in his knee and was later evaluated by a doctor.

As a result of the accident, the plaintiff tore his left meniscus in his knee and could no longer walk for a long
period of time and had difficulty standing. There is no surgery to repair the injury, and he is too young for a
full knee replacement. Due to the lack of availability of remedies, he has to undergo extensive physical therapy
and cortisone shots every few months to diminish his daily pain.

The plaintiff was walking through a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a vehicle leaving a parking lot,
knocking him to the ground. He was checked by EMS for injuries to his left knee, which he could not put any
weight on.
