Our Writing the Future Scholarship seeks to recognize those very students who want to have a positive impact on the world around them. These exceptional individuals desire to be a good steward of the education they receive so that they can contribute to society. We were in awe of the stories that came from the diverse essays that students submitted this year and the unique experiences that brought them to where they are today. There were over 1050 submissions for this year’s $1000 scholarship! Our team has spent several weeks reading about the challenges you’ve overcome, your incredible determination, and ambitious goals for the future that take into account the wellbeing of others in your own neighborhood and beyond.
Out of all the entries received, we’ve now narrowed them down the list five finalists. One of these students will be the 2022 winner of the Writing the Future Scholarship. Congratulations to the following:
