Parental Discipline of a Child
A Burlington woman charged with felony assault and battery resulting in bodily injury in Woburn District Court
for disciplining her child in public. After a motion to dismiss we were able to get the case reduced to a
misdemeanor assault and battery. The day of trial we had five witnesses prepped and ready to testify. In
pre-trial motions we successfully argued to keep the 911 tape out.
The Commonwealth was unable to continue and the case was dismissed.
