Assault and Battery Caught on Tape
A Lowell man was charged with assault and battery on a security officer while a patient at a hospital. The
security officer dislocated his shoulder requiring surgery and time out of work. A surveillance video and
medical records of the incident were obtained from the hospital.
All charges were dropped on the day of trial.
