How It Happened
A young student was walking through a school parking lot in Billerica, MA when she was struck by a vehicle that
was pulling away from the curb.
Injuries sustained from the accident
The crash led to damage in her shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hips. In addition, she suffered a sprained ankle and
elbow, both of which required physical therapy.
After the accident, the victim had difficulty sitting too long and performing daily tasks, including helping her
disabled mother care for her young siblings or perform household chores.
The case settled prior to trial for $9,000.00
