Motor Vehicle Accident – Driver Rear-Ended While in Traffic, Causing Hand and Neck Pain
The plaintiff was driving from Howe Street to Route 213 West in Methuen, Massachusetts and slowing down due to
the heavy amount of traffic when he was rear-ended. His injuries were to his neck, both of his hands, and his
wrist. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance, where they evaluated his left shoulder, neck, and hands.
As a result of this accident, the plaintiff had to endure occupational therapy with little to no success, as he
still remains in pain and cannot accomplish daily tasks. He has trouble sleeping and using his left shoulder.
